Journées des Actinides 2019
The 49th edition of the Journées des Actinides (JdA2019) took place on April 14-18, 2019 at the Ettore Majorana Foundation and Centre for Scientific Culture, Erice – Sicily, Italy.
90 participants from 14 countries, 65 Oral Presentations + 19 Posters
Social event: visit of the archaeological site of Segesta,
one of the major cities of the Elymians, an ancient people who inhabited the western part of Sicily
during the Bronze Age. Its foundation is ascribed to a band of Trojan settlers, fugitives from the destruction
of their city after the Trojan war (1260–1180 BC).
